Score a spare Greenworks’ PRO 80V 5Ah electric tool battery

Amazon is offering a rare chance to save on the Greenworks PRO 80V 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery for $238.97 shipped. Down from its usual $400 price tag, we saw very few Amazon discounts on this battery over 2023, with most price cuts happening over on Greenworks’ website – where it is currently sitting at a higher $300 rate. Today’s deal comes in as a 40% markdown off the going rate, giving you $161 in savings and dropping costs to the second-lowest price we have tracked, which is within $1 of the all-time low from 2022. This battery is part of Greenworks’ universal ecosystem, meaning that it is compatible with over 75 different 80V electric tools, saving you time and money when you need to switch out devices for different jobs. With a separately sold 80V rapid charger (which is currently available on Amazon for $61) this battery can fully recharge in just 90 minutes, and it features on-board LED indicator lights to keep you informed on its real-time charging status.

Segway announces new GoKart Pro 2, pre-order now at $500 off

Segway is also launching a pre-order discount on its all-new GoKart Pro 2. The more fun EV is getting plenty of upgrades for its second-generation release, and now you can score it at $500 off. Ahead of shopping later this spring, the new release debuts at $1,799.99 shipped courtesy of Best Buy – where it is exclusively available for pre-order.

It arrives equipped with a removable 432Wh battery and a 4,800W air-cooled motor that can reach an improved 26.7 MPH (over the first-generation’s 23 MPH speed) with real drifting play function for up to 15.5 miles on a single charge. Like the earlier model, the motor can be located in the rear of the vehicle, with rear-wheel drive allowing for nimble drifting capabilities. It also features a drifting assistance system that allows users to pre-program their experiences depending on their style or site conditions. The new Segway GoKart 2 also includes a detachable Bluetooth speaker that allows users to craft and play their personalized soundtracks, enhancing your ride with the perfect accompaniment.

OKAI Ranger e-bike

Save $840 on this OKAI Ranger e-bike

Best Buy is marking down the OKAI Ranger e-bike to $1,159.35 shipped. You’d more normally pay $2,000 for this Class 2 EV, and now it’s seeing an $840 discount to its second-best price. We first covered the OKAI Ranger back in 2022 when it launched, offering a 1,000W rear hub motor and pair of fat tires to go alongside its step-over design with a built-in color LCD display built right into its aircraft-grade aluminum frame. It boasts a 45-mile range on a single charge with up to 20 MPH top speeds, as well as some fun customizable ambient lighting on the side for those low-light rides.

You can get a closer look at the OKAI Ranger in our launch coverage here at Electrek for a full rundown of the e-bike experience and just how today’s $840 discount stacks up.
