DEUS Vayanne electric hypercar concept makes world debut – Can it deliver 2,200 HP by production in 2025?

“New York. Concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there’s nothing you can’t do.” – Alicia Keyes. This song could have served as an anthem for DEUS Automobiles as it debuted its Vayanne electric hypercar concept at the New York International Auto Show today. Together with Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering, DEUS hopes to take the Vayanne from “just another concept” into limited run production and is promising some specs that are truly worthy of the “hypercar” moniker.

Williams Advanced Engineering gets $125 million to build EV battery factory in the UK

Williams Advanced Engineering, the tech division of the Williams Formula 1 team, had the battery supply contract for the Formula E, but its electric vehicle battery effort took a hit when McLaren won the new contract last year.

It’s apparently far from dead since we now learn that they got £100 million ($125 million USD) to build a battery factory in the UK.
