A recent 2022 report by Zutobi has ranked the top 20 most affordable EVs to operate around the world based on a number of factors. This includes considerations such as battery size, cost to charge, and miles driven per given dollar amounts. Tesla takes the top spot this year, but there are plenty of other viable options currently available to consumers.

A previously uncertain future for Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port UK manufacturing factory has found new life in producing battery electric vehicles. This electric conversion comes off a recent announcement from parent company Stellantis promising a £100 million investment with the aid of the British government. By the end of 2022, the revamped factory will produce both passenger and commercial electric vans for Vauxhall, Opel, Citroën, and Peugeot.

British Gas has ordered 1,000 of the new Vauxhall electric Vivaro-e vans for its engineers — the largest EV order for a commercial fleet in the UK. They’ll arrive over the next 12 months.
