Tesla sues Sweden’s transport agency and gets a small win

After filing twin lawsuits against the Swedish Transport Agency and the country’s postal service after workers refused to deliver license plates for its cars, Tesla can enjoy a small victory in the battle in Sweden. Hours after filing the suits, a court in Sweden has backed the automaker, offering a temporary injunction to get the plates to the company within a week.

Sweden’s Tesla boycott snowballs as more workers join the strike

Today more unions in Sweden are joining Tesla’s mechanics in the strike against the notoriously anti-union EV automaker. Dockworkers in Sweden won’t be unloading any Tesla vehicles, maintenance crews won’t be cleaning up Tesla stores, and broken Superchargers won’t get repaired. Next week, even Tesla mail won’t be delivered.

Tesla Powerwall 2 to be popular in Sweden with new $5,000 incentive to install home battery packs

Even though Tesla made several significant improvements to the Powerwall with its latest generation, and it virtually has no competition as we discussed, it will still only make sense economically in markets with high electricity rates or significant incentives to deploy energy storage – unless someone simply wants to use it for backup energy storage.

Sweden confirmed that it will be one of those markets as the government announced a new significant incentive this week for homeowners to install battery packs.
