Ireland is one of the last European markets, outside of eastern Europe, where Tesla still doesn’t have an official presence, but that’s about to change.
They started taking orders for the Model S and X in December and now they are about to open their first location and Supercharger next week.

Last month, we reported on Tesla’s director of Nordic sales confirming that the automaker is planning to enter the Irish market. It became a reality this week as Tesla officially started taking orders for the Model S and X in Ireland.

Ireland, with Portugal and Spain, is among the last few countries in Western Europe where Tesla is still not officially selling its vehicles and where it has no retail presence, but that’s about to change. Tesla officials have confirmed being in the final stages of preparation for an expansion in Ireland in 2017.
With already planned expansions in Portugal and Spain, Tesla will have a presence in every country in Western Europe after entering the Irish market in 2017.

Tesla has been quickly expanding in Europe with only a few market left unpenetrated. In December 2015, the automaker officially launched in Scotland with its first store in Edinburgh, we now learn that Tesla is expanding to the other side of the Irish Sea, namely to Ireland.
