Is a viable option for electric van life finally here? Possibly! Earlier today, Mercedes-Benz shared more details of its 2024 eSprinter Van refresh, including a more accurate range estimate (although still not official). What is official is the pricing, however, and when compared with its other specs, we may see some van enthusiasts consider a conversion.

Rivian’s minivan image in patent offers an exercise in imagination more than anything

Images discovered by a member of Rivian Forums show Rivian has filed a patent with the US Patent and Trademark office for a sliding door on a dual-guide-rail. Interestingly enough, the images in the patent show the door on a minivan-style vehicle. Before speculation runs rampant, we want to point out that this patent is one of hundreds filed by the automaker and likely does not allude to a future Rivian minivan. However, it does present a growing niche Rivian would be well suited to fill.

Mercedes-Benz unveils new eSprinter all-electric van with specs: 150 km of range and 1000 kg payload

After unveiling its latest lineup of Sprinter vans with a new electric model earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz released all the details today of its latest addition to its electric lineup.

The eSprinter all-electric van will have a range of up to 150 km (93 miles) and a maximum payload of 1,000 kg (2,200 lbs).
