What’s the Ford Mustang Mach-E price?

The price of the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E starts at $44,995. There is a range of five different Mach-E models, climbing above $60,000.

The Mach-E’s Select trim starts at $44,995 Select. It comes standard with 255 horsepower and a 75.7-kWh Standard Range battery pack offering about 230 miles of range on a single charge. The Select accelerates from zero to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds. You can add an all-wheel-drive for $2,700, although that drops the range to about 210 miles.

The Premium version of the Mach-E starts at $51,700. The Premium comes with the same Standard Range battery pack and rear-wheel drive. Again, you can select the all-wheel-drive version for $2,700. The Premium also offers an option of a larger 98.8-kWh Extended battery pack for $5,000 extra. That boosts the estimated range to 300 miles with rear-wheel drive and 270 miles with all-wheel drive. The Premium’s power output is 282 horsepower and 332 hp for the RWD and AWD, respectively.

The Mach-E 282-horsepower California Route 1 version, starting at $53,500, comes with the Extended battery and rear-wheel drive to deliver a range of 300 miles. It also brings unique 18-inch aerodynamic wheels. All-wheel-drive is not available.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition model starts at $61,000. It comes with the Extended Range battery and all-wheel drive and visual enhancements, including First Edition badges and red brake calipers. The $61,600 Mach-E GT is at the top of the lineup. It also comes with the Extended Range battery but boosts power to 459 hp and 612 lb-ft. The GT can zip from zero to 60 mph in just over 3 seconds.

Ford EVs are still eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit.

What is the Ford Mustang Mach-E lease price?

Ford won’t technically offer a lease program for the Mach-E. Instead, the company says it will have a “lease-like” purchase arrangement for those who don’t want a conventional purchase. The deal will bring mileage limits and a guaranteed buy-back at the end of three years.

Ford said it was taking this approach to pass 100% of the federal EV tax credit to the customer.

We don’t yet have information about the Mach-E’s residual value, but CarsDirect said the lease rate would be equivalent to about 2.25% APR with 36- and 48-month options.

When is the Ford Mustang Mach-E coming out?

Ford’s new Mach-E electric SUV is coming out on a rolling schedule beginning in late 2020. That’s when the First Edition and Premium models arrive. Then, in early 2021, Ford will introduce the Select and California Route 1 versions of the Mach-E. Finally, in spring 2021, the performance-oriented Mach-E GT arrives.

What is the Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition?

Ford announced the availability of the First Edition Mach-E when the vehicle was unveiled in November 2019. By December, all the available inventory had been reserved with a $500 deposit. The well-equipped version – offering the larger battery, all-wheel drive, and vegan upholstery – provides 332 horsepower and a 270-mile range. It will feature red-painted brake calipers, metallic pedal covers, contrasting seat stitching, and a scuff plate marked “First Edition.”

What is the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT?

The Mach-E GT is the performance version of Ford’s electric SUV. It arrives in spring 2021. The other variants of the Mustang Mach-E take off from zero to 60 mph in five or seconds. The Mach-E GT slices that to the mid-three-second level. The privilege costs $61,600 – the top of the line for the model.

The all-wheel-drive only version will target 459 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque. It will come festooned with 20-inch Premium Forged Machined-face Dark Tarnish-painted wheels with red front and rear brake calipers.

What will the Ford Mustang Mach-E interior be like?

The Ford Mustang Mach-E seats five adults comfortably. In addition to the exterior front trunk – or frunk – the rear trunk provides 29 cubic feet of space. With the back seats down, the Mach-E boasts 59.6 cubic feet of space.

The Mach-E sports traditional Mustang design cues. The interior dash got a double-brow that dips in the middle. It also features a panoramic fixed-glass roof.

There is a large central touchscreen mounted in a portrait position in the center of the dashboard. It has an analog rotary button built into the screen. That arrangement is augmented by a second screen in front of the driver that displays the speed and available range.

Where is the Ford Mustang Mach-E made?

The Mustang Mach-E will be produced at Ford’s plant in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico.

The Electrek Review: The Mach-E is Ford’s most important Mustang in 56 years

Mustang Mach E review

When we were invited to Ford’s campus in 2019 to check out what we’d learn was the new Mustang Mach-E, we were told we were witnessing the future of the iconic 118-year-old American auto manufacturer. We soon learned that Ford wasn’t just messing around with another compliance EV, it was building a sport CUV and throwing their most prized emblem on it.

Fast forward to 2021. I got a chance to drive the Mach-E for a full week, and this wasn’t a Southern California summer jaunt, when most EV drives are scheduled. It was Nor’easter-plagued late January in New York, including a snowy road trip to Vermont. I currently drive a Tesla Model Y as a daily driver and have been driving EVs exclusively for a decade, so this Mustang isn’t my first rodeo.
