We got a chance to get up close and personal with a production-intent version of the upcoming Fisker PEAR, and it looks even better than we expected.

The Fisker Ocean has been out and about for a few months now, but most media drives have been relatively short test drives so far. But with the LA Auto Show in town, Fisker gave us an Ocean overnight to have a little unsupervised testing time with its new electric SUV.

California-based electric automaker Fisker saw its shares plummet 14% yesterday after reporting big losses and lower sales than expected. Now, the American startup expects to slash its production forecast for this year by as much as 30% of initial expectations.

Executives from the American automaker recently visited Shanghai and discussed collaboration opportunities in the country, which has enabled plans for a delivery center opening this year followed by first Ocean deliveries in 2024.
